Cebreros, Spain – A video recorded by X user Fran Prieto on July 18 shows the sun reduced to a glowing orange ember as smoke from a forest fire in Navaluenga fills the sky.

The footage, captured from Cebreros in the province of Ávila, reveals the eerie scene as thick smoke clouds rise from the burning forest.

The fire is located in the area known as La Chinita, within the municipality of Navaluenga, and is currently threatening the town.

A major firefighting effort is underway, with ten aircraft, ten fire engines, and nine ground crews deployed to combat the flames.

Despite the response, the Navaluenga city council has issued a call for volunteers to help as the fire continues to pose a danger.
