Serial Shoplifter Strikes Nike Store in Atlanta, Stealing Over $5K in Merchandise

Atlanta, USA – The Atlanta Police Department (APD) has a clear message. “If you plan to steal from any store, well… just don’t,” they say. This warning comes after two men were arrested for shoplifting.

The incident happened on October 1. Just after 3:30 p.m., APD officers were called to a Nike store on Ponce De Leon Avenue NE. A shoplifter had struck.

A witness saw the crime. An unknown man walked into the store. He placed stolen goods into a large garbage bag and left. The witness acted quickly.

The witness provided a crucial detail. They gave the tag number of the suspect’s vehicle. This helped the police.
