Saskatchewan, Canada – Wildfires burning across Saskatchewan and Manitoba have filled the skies with thick smoke, as seen in dramatic satellite footage.

The GOES-18 satellite captured nearly 11 hours of continuous wildfire activity. The video shows enormous smoke plumes spreading through the atmosphere.

The smoke has choked skies over large parts of Canada, carried by strong winds high into the air.
