Russian Rescuers Save Baby Seal in Dramatic Coastal Operation

Vladivostok, Russia – Emergency workers from Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) have swooped in to save a stranded baby larga seal in Primorye. The helpless creature was spotted washed up on Shamora shore. It had been drifting on an ice floe for days, battling the elements. Exhausted, the young marine mammal was finally flung onto the coast.

Quick-thinking officers from the MChS State Inspectorate for Small Vessels leapt into action. They wrapped the shivering pup in a warm blanket to shield it from the biting cold. With no time to waste, they dialled up a marine animal rehabilitation centre for expert help. Until the pros arrived, the team kept a close eye on the little seal, tending to its every need.

Now, the good news is trickling in. The baby larga is safe and sound, under the watchful care of specialists. They’re working round the clock to nurse it back to health. For now, this tiny survivor is on the mend, thanks to the heroic efforts of Russia’s finest.
