Abra de Ilog, Philippines – Despite the fierce conditions brought by Typhoon Emong and the southwest monsoon, Coast Guard Sub-Station Abra de Ilog teamed up with MDRRMO rescuers to save two families from danger in Barangay Tibag.

The rescued families, five members in total, were swiftly evacuated on July 24, 2025, and taken to the Abra de Ilog Gymnasium evacuation center for safety.
