Dorgali, Italy – On Saturday, September 6, 2025, a dramatic rescue unfolded near Cala Biriola in Dorgali, Nuoro province.

A man and a woman became stranded in a remote and difficult-to-access area, prompting an emergency response.

The Fire Department’s helicopter Drago VF144 was deployed to the scene.

Rescuers used a winch operation, lowering and lifting personnel to reach the individuals safely.

Both the man and woman were successfully brought to safety, ending the tense operation without reported injuries.
