Sri Lanka – Sri Lanka Air Force personnel from the SLAF No. 4 Helicopter Squadron airlifted three people from the roof of a flooded house as rising waters surrounded the structure.

According to the Air Force, the rescue was carried out as flood conditions intensified, leaving the individuals stranded on the rooftop with no safe way to escape.

The operation was executed by an SLAF helicopter crew responding to the emergency, hoisting all three to safety above the high water.
