Cullera, Valencia, Spain – On March 17, 2026, two uniformed Guardia Civil officers quickly came to the aid of an 86-year-old man who was choking while seated at a bar table. The elderly man was eating with his wife when the emergency occurred.

The footage shows the officers performing repeated abdominal thrusts using the Heimlich maneuver. Their swift action forced the obstruction from the man’s airway, allowing him to breathe normally again. Relief is clearly visible as the life-saving intervention concludes.
