New York, United States – On December 18, 2025, at 9:18 AM, NYPD Harbor Unit officers responded to a report of a man in distress in the water near the Mill Basin Bridge.

Acting quickly as every second counted, the officers rescued the individual, navigating frigid waters and unforgiving conditions to bring him to safety.
