National Guard And Marine Unit Rescue Driver Stranded In South King County

South King County, Washington – On Monday night, a driver became trapped in their vehicle at the intersection of 277th and 68th in South King County, forcing them to climb onto the roof for safety.

The King County Sheriff’s Office reported that the Marine Unit, in coordination with the Washington National Guard, responded swiftly to the situation.

A National Guard Tall Transport vehicle assisted in the rescue, allowing the stranded driver to be safely removed from the scene.

Authorities praised the operation as another successful example of emergency coordination between local and military units.
