Multiple Fires Erupt Across Orange County As Firefighters Battle Blazes In Stanton, San Clemente, And Irvine

Orange County, United States – Firefighters responded to several emergencies overnight, with crews battling fires in Stanton, San Clemente, and Irvine.

In Stanton, Station 46 crews saw a large smoke column rising from a condominium complex on the 7100 block of Kelton Way. They found a fast-moving fire inside a two-story unit, threatening an adjacent condo. The incident was upgraded to a working fire, and a second alarm brought over 50 firefighters to the scene. Thanks to a rapid and coordinated response, the blaze was contained. Two residents were taken to the hospital for evaluation.

In San Clemente, around 9:00 PM, multiple reports came in about a vegetation fire in the 300 block of Avenida San Pablo. Battalion 6 located a half-acre blaze in a canyon, threatening nearby homes. Helicopters, including the Firehawk and QRF Helitanker, performed multiple water drops. Ground crews worked to contain hotspots, supported by a drone equipped with FLIR. The cause remains under investigation.

In Irvine, Engine 36 responded to a garage fire on Greenmoor. The detached structure was fully involved and posed a threat to nearby condos. Firefighters launched an aggressive attack and stopped the flames from spreading. The cause is also under investigation.
