Los Angeles, USA – On February 14, 2026, Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles became the center of a massive demonstration as protesters rallied in solidarity with Iran’s anti-regime movement and exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi’s call for democratic transition.
Video filmed by Ben Parsi shows an estimated 350,000 demonstrators—mostly Iranian-Americans—filling the park and spilling onto surrounding streets. Red, white, and green pre-1979 Iranian flags with the golden lion and sun emblem waved alongside American and Israeli flags, while portraits of Reza Pahlavi and his daughter Noor were held high. Signs read “Reza Pahlavi Is Our Choice,” “No Deal with Terrorists,” and “President Trump: Do Not Abandon the Iranian People,” demanding regime change and human rights.
As the camera moves through the crowd, chants of “Javid Shah!” and “Death to the dictator!” rise in waves, mixed with drums and cheers. Families, youth, and elders hoisted placards denouncing the Islamic Republic’s brutal crackdowns, which have killed thousands in recent unrest. Protesters also displayed massive ground banners reading “Help Is On Its Way.”
Speakers, including Noor Pahlavi, addressed the crowd, calling for international support. The atmosphere combined joy and defiance: raised hands in victory signs, tears of resolve, and smiles amid the sea of flags and faces stretching toward the horizon.
Law enforcement maintained order with road closures and a heavy presence, ensuring the demonstration remained peaceful. The rally marked one of the largest gatherings of the Iranian diaspora, following Toronto and Munich, in what participants call the “Lion and Sun Revolution.”
The sweeping turnout highlighted a historic expression of unity demanding democracy and rejecting both monarchy and clerical rule in favor of Pahlavi’s leadership.
