Pala, California – The Henderson Fire has exploded to 200 acres and is only 5% contained.

The fire is burning aggressively in steep terrain, where access is limited and conditions are dangerous.

A total of 160 firefighters from several agencies are still at the scene, battling to slow the fire’s spread.

The fire remains active, with flames continuing to push through difficult ground.

The Red Cross is now assisting residents who have been displaced by the fire.
