Nanjing, China – A frightening incident unfolded when an elderly man lost his balance while hanging laundry from his fourth-floor apartment, falling and ending up dangling upside down from a third-floor security window.

Firefighters from Nanjing arrived promptly and first removed the security bars to access the man. One firefighter stood outside, supporting him, while colleagues inside coordinated on both sides of the window.

Thanks to their quick action and careful teamwork, the elderly man was successfully rescued and brought safely back into the apartment without serious injury. The operation highlights the skill and precision of emergency responders in high-risk situations.
