Eastern Pacific – On December 22, 2025, Joint Task Force Southern Spear carried out a lethal kinetic strike against a low-profile vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations in international waters, under the direction of Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

Intelligence confirmed the vessel was navigating known narco-trafficking routes and actively engaged in narcotics operations.

The strike resulted in the confirmed death of one male narco-terrorist.

No U.S. military personnel were harmed during the operation.
