Lee County, Florida – On the morning of December 10, 2025, deputies from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office joined forces with Iona McGregor Fire District, South Trail Fire Protection & Rescue Service District, Estero Fire Rescue, and Bonita Springs Fire Control and Rescue District to deliver some holiday cheer.

The team of “tactical elves” rappelled down the side of Golisano Children’s Hospital, surprising young patients with waves, smiles, and a touch of Christmas magic.

Children and families cheered as the deputies and firefighters brought joy to those spending the holidays in the hospital.
