Injured Owl Enjoying Gentle Caresses From Syracuse Police After Rescue

Syracuse, New York – On February 11, Syracuse Police Animal Cruelty officers responded to a call on Upland Road for an injured owl in need of assistance.

Bodycam footage shows the officers carefully handling the bird while gently caressing it, capturing the moment after the rescue. The owl is secure and stabilized before being transported to local wildlife professionals for treatment.

Residents on Upland Road who alerted authorities were thanked for helping ensure the injured owl received timely care.
