Santa Ynez Valley, United States – A mountain biker suffered a serious head injury during a guided tour in the Alisal Ranch area.

Firefighter paramedics reached the injured adult male using a UTV. They provided emergency medical care and moved him to an accessible location for aerial extraction.

At 9:43 AM, SBC Air Support Unit Copter 3 conducted a hoist rescue and transported the patient to SB Cottage Hospital in critical condition.
