Howard County Police Rescue Frightened Dog From House Fire

Howard County, MD – A house fire in Howard County forced two residents to evacuate, but their beloved dog was still inside.

Police officers Amaro and Aghamalian, first on the scene, heard the owners’ urgent pleas to save their pet while they waited safely in the front yard.

Without hesitation, the officers rushed into the home, not knowing the fire’s severity. They tracked the frightened dog into the garage, where a brief chase followed.

After safely grabbing the pup, the officers returned it to its grateful owners outside.

Experts emphasize that during a house fire, all occupants—including pets—should evacuate immediately, but swift actions by first responders can make all the difference.
