Bocairent, Spain – A hiker in distress was rescued in a dramatic operation involving air support and medical personnel.

The specialized GERA team from Bombers Consorci VLC coordinated with the V-990 helicopter for the mission.

The hiker received on-site medical attention after being located. Rescuers immobilized the individual before lifting them from the difficult terrain.

The evacuation was carried out by air and concluded at the helipad in Alzira, where further treatment could be provided.
