Italy – Fire crews and a helicopter unit worked on Sunday, November 23, 2025, to rescue a horse that had become trapped in thick mud.

From the morning until early afternoon, firefighters from Cesena and Savignano sul Rubicone operated at the scene, supported by an aircraft from the Bologna flight unit.

Throughout the operation, veterinary personnel remained present to constantly monitor the horse’s health and ensure its safety during the rescue.
