Greer Fire Forces Evacuations As Flames Race Across Thousands Of Acres

Greer, Arizona – The Apache County Office of Emergency Management has issued a GO evacuation order for residents south of Highway 260 and west of River Road due to the advancing Greer Fire.

The wildfire, now mapped at 6,400 acres, continues to move north and northeast.

High winds are fueling the blaze’s rapid spread.

A Red Flag Warning remains in effect for the entire fire area through tonight, signaling extreme fire behavior and dangerous conditions.

Officials urge residents to evacuate immediately and follow all safety instructions as firefighting crews battle the growing inferno.
