Las Vegas, Nevada – A neighborhood was thrown into panic when an 8-year-old boy went missing, sending family and patrol officers scrambling for over an hour. The child, who had never wandered off before, was nowhere to be found.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Drone as a First Responder (DFR) team quickly sprang into action. The drone scoured the area, relaying real-time coordinates to officers on the ground.

Thanks to the swift aerial guidance, the boy was located unharmed and safely reunited with his relieved parents, ending a tense and frightening ordeal.
