Florida Deputies Tame Giant Alligator In Suburban Showdown

Lee County, Florida, USA – Deputies were called to a home on July 12 after a large alligator was spotted lounging in the front yard.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office released video showing the intense operation to remove the animal.

Deputies arrived and began forming a plan to safely handle the situation.

They estimated the alligator to be between 8 and 9 feet long.

For safety, deputies secured the area and coordinated with a licensed wildlife trapper.

Using a strong rope, they pulled the alligator out from under the bushes.

The animal thrashed and entered a “death roll” in an effort to break free.

In the final moments of the video, the deputies successfully restrained the alligator and secured its snout.

No injuries were reported during the encounter.
