Antelope Valley, California – CHP Antelope Valley, the Los Angeles County Sheriff, and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to flooding at the intersection of Palmdale Boulevard and 150th Street East.

Water flowing across the roadway swept a party away in their vehicle during the incident. The individuals were safely rescued.

Authorities issued a safety reminder urging the public not to drive through flowing or flooded roadways. Officials warned that more heavy rain is expected for the Antelope Valley and surrounding areas.

Drivers were advised to slow down, watch for flooding across roads, and use alternate routes.
