Five Rounds Of Hail Pound Texas Countryside In Violent Storm

Tow, United States – Dramatic footage filmed by David Alford on March 4, 2026, captures a powerful hailstorm slamming Tow in Llano County, Texas, during a wave of severe thunderstorms that brought damaging winds, heavy rain, and repeated bursts of large hail across central Texas.

The video opens on a rural landscape of green fields, scattered trees, and a dirt road beneath darkening skies. Within moments, pea- to quarter-sized hail begins falling heavily, striking the ground in a dense white curtain and bouncing across the terrain as it quickly starts to accumulate.

The hailstones rattle loudly against the ground while strong winds push the icy barrage sideways. Larger chunks can be seen striking the earth as the storm intensifies, turning the once quiet countryside into a chaotic scene of flying ice and roaring wind.

As the handheld camera remains fixed through the storm, the hail continues for around 45 minutes, striking the area in five separate waves. With each round, the ground grows whiter as fresh layers of ice blanket the landscape.

The footage reflects the storm’s intensity and matches the caption shared with the video: “Mother Nature.. was this a sign that you were going to give me 5 rounds of hail?..”
