Wexford County, Michigan – A fireworks tent burst into flames in the early hours of July 5, prompting an emergency response from multiple agencies.
At around 4:12 a.m., troopers from the Michigan State Police Cadillac Post were dispatched to a parking lot off Mitchell Street in Haring Township following reports of a fire.
When troopers arrived, they found the tent fully engulfed, with fireworks actively exploding inside.
Fire crews from Haring Township and Cadillac Fire Departments arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire.
No injuries were reported, and authorities confirmed that no nearby structures were believed to be damaged.
The Michigan State Police were assisted at the scene by the Wexford County Sheriff’s Office and the Cadillac Police Department.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
