Fermo, Italy – On June 12, firefighters responded to an emergency in Torre delle Palme, a district of Fermo.
At 8:40 p.m., a dog was reported trapped in a ravine about 20 meters deep.
A specialized rescue team from the Fermo Fire Department, including Speleo Alpine River (SAF) personnel, was dispatched to the scene.
After locating the animal, rescuers safely retrieved the dog using special harnessing techniques.
The dog was returned unharmed to its owner.
The rescue operation concluded around 11 p.m.
