Fairfield, California – Fairfield Firefighters successfully contained a fast-moving vegetation fire that scorched approximately 7 acres near Chadbourne Road and Cordelia Road.

The blaze erupted after a vehicle caught fire, spreading quickly through nearby dry vegetation. Fire crews responded rapidly and worked to stop the flames from reaching nearby properties.

Thanks to the swift action of the Fairfield Fire Department, there was no private property damage reported.

No injuries were sustained during the incident.

The fire has been fully contained.
