Pastorano, Italy – On Thursday, July 10, 2025, five teams of firefighters responded to a major fire at a waste storage and recycling facility in Torre Lupara, within the municipality of Pastorano.

The emergency began in the late afternoon, with three local firefighting units joined by two additional teams from Avellino and Frosinone.

The fire threatened several nearby warehouses but has since been contained and brought under control.

Extinguishing operations are still ongoing.
