Panama City, Florida – Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Pierre (LCS 38) has arrived in Panama City, Florida, ahead of her commissioning ceremony on November 7, 2025.

Pierre is the second U.S. Navy ship to carry this name and will be the last Independence-variant littoral combat ship to be commissioned into the U.S. Navy.

The ship is scheduled to be commissioned in Panama City on November 15.
