Sarkoy, Turkey – Firefighting teams continue their relentless battle against raging wildfires in Tekirdag’s Sarkoy district and Canakkale’s Ayvacik area, facing not only flames but also powerful winds.

Authorities confirmed the deployment of 14 planes, 13 helicopters, 114 fire trucks, 10 heavy machinery units, and 684 personnel.

The operation has continued through the night, with aerial support resuming at first light.

Crews remain committed to extinguishing the last flames, working without pause for the protection of “Yesil Vatan” — the Green Homeland.
