Faces Of Defiance Mark Free Iran Rally In Central London

London, United Kingdom – An emotional solidarity march supporting the Iranian people unfolded on Regent Street at around 2:28 PM on Sunday, January 18, 2026, as demonstrators gathered for a “Free Iran” rally in the heart of the city.

Young women and girls took part in the march, dressed for winter conditions and moving together with visible determination. Their expressions and posture conveyed strong emotion and shared resolve as they joined others calling for change.

The demonstration was part of a series of global actions held in mid-January 2026 in support of the uprising in Iran. Participants voiced demands for freedom, regime change, and the designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization, amid reports of repression, economic crisis, and crackdowns inside the country.

Families, youth, and members of the Iranian diaspora were among those present, emphasizing solidarity with protesters in Iran. The gathering on Regent Street formed part of wider international protests drawing attention to the situation facing the Iranian people.
