Hollywood, California – Video filmed by X user Alex Hitchens shows a staggering post-holiday line outside the Honey Baked Ham store at the Sunset and Highland strip mall on the afternoon of November 27, 2025, the day after Thanksgiving.
The clip is captioned, “Honeybaked Ham line looking like 2003 Top Thrill Dragster.”
Shot from a car crawling westbound on Sunset Boulevard, the video reveals a theme-park-style queue that begins at the store’s front door, runs along the sidewalk past CVS and Carl’s Jr., wraps around the corner of the building, and then doubles back on itself. The line appears 150–200 people deep, stretching farther than the camera can follow.
As the camera slowly pans from left to right, families with strollers, people in hoodies and sunglasses, some holding numbered tickets and others clutching printed order forms, shuffle forward under the bright California sun while palm trees sway overhead.
The “2003 Top Thrill Dragster” reference points to the year Cedar Point’s 420-foot stratacoaster opened, notorious for an endless switchback queue that coiled around itself and took hours to clear. The comparison underlines the message: Black Friday Honey Baked Ham lines have reached legendary rollercoaster wait-time levels – peak post-Thanksgiving chaos, LA style.
