Carcaixent, Spain – Firefighters from Alzira and GERA, operating with the Consorci VLC, rescued two 90-year-old residents with mobility issues from their flooded home during heavy rains in Carcaixent.

The elderly individuals were evacuated from their ground-floor house using a boat provided by the Consorci, and safely transported to a secure location.

Authorities emphasized the importance of timely intervention to protect vulnerable residents during extreme weather events.
