Drone Reveals Devastation Across Memorial Northwest As Urgent Rescues Push Forward

Spring, TX – Drone footage captured by Constable Mark Herman’s Office, Precinct 4, reveals widespread and severe damage across the affected Memorial Northwest neighborhoods in the aftermath of recent severe weather.

First responders are continuing coordinated rescue and recovery operations on the ground. Deputies are working with Fire, EMS and partner agencies to conduct welfare checks, assess structural damage and search for any additional injured residents.

The aerial footage is being used to identify inaccessible areas, downed power lines and hazardous debris fields, allowing rescue crews to be directed safely and efficiently.

CenterPoint Energy has arrived to address power outages, secure downed lines and respond to reports of natural gas odors in the impacted neighborhoods.

“Our teams are fully engaged in rescue operations and damage assessment,” Constable Mark Herman said. “This drone footage allows us to direct resources where they are needed most and continue protecting the community during this critical time.”
