Chengdu, China – In Pujiang, a man became trapped on a wooden frame in the middle of a river during a late-night fishing trip.

As water levels rose, the fisherman was surrounded by fast-moving currents and unable to return to shore.

Chengdu Fire Department used a drone to deliver lifesaving equipment to the man. After guiding him to put on the gear, rescuers used the drone to pull him safely to land.
