Dramatic River Rescue Saves Two Fishermen Trapped By Raging Waters

Wenzhou, Zhejiang — On May 18, two men were trapped on a dam while fishing as sudden rising waters turned the river into a torrent.

The powerful current crashed against the rocks on both sides, putting the men at constant risk of being swept away.

Firefighters from Zhejiang Fire Department quickly set up a rope-crossing system above the rushing water.

They created a lifeline over the flood and carried out a daring rescue through the current.

Both men were safely brought to shore.

Authorities urge everyone to stay away from dangerous waters during flood season.
