Hunt, United States – When floodwaters hit the Texas Hill Country, Texas Department of Public Safety personnel from across the state rushed in to help.

A DPS aircraft from Houston carried out multiple rescues during the initial emergency response.

Between Hunt and Ingram, the pilot, crew chief, and rescue swimmer executed a daring rescue in harsh conditions.

Through pounding rain and limited visibility, they pulled two females and one male from trees and brought them to safety.
