San Saba County, Texas – DPS’ Aircraft Operations Division assisted Texas Parks and Wildlife in a hoist rescue after an individual was found disoriented and dehydrated.

The aircrew quickly acted to conduct the hoist rescue and then flew the subject to receive medical care.

The operation took place in San Saba County and involved coordinated effort between DPS aircraft personnel and Texas Parks and Wildlife.

Officials said the rescue highlights the readiness and expertise of the aircraft team to respond to calls across Texas.
