Dog Trapped Deep Inside Pipe Rescued After Hours Of Grueling Firefighter Dig

Firenze, Italy – A dog trapped inside a narrow pipe was dramatically saved after becoming stuck in mud and debris during an intense rescue operation carried out yesterday in Sesto Fiorentino.

The animal had been wedged inside a tube measuring about 50 centimeters wide, unable to move as dirt and rubble blocked its escape.

Firefighters from the Vigili del Fuoco worked for nearly three hours, digging by hand through extremely tight spaces to reach the trapped dog.

Rescuers finally made contact with the animal at a depth of roughly three meters below ground.

Once freed, the dog was safely returned to its owner, ending the tense operation without injuries.
