Disabled Elderly Woman Left Stranded In Freezing Rain Near Henrietta Mall

Henrietta, New York – A video captured a troubling scene of a disabled elderly woman left exposed to harsh winter weather near the Market Place Mall.

The footage was filmed by X user Joseph Frascati while passing through the area.

The woman, appearing mobility-impaired and using a manual wheelchair, was stranded on a snowy, icy sidewalk or curb as freezing rain and sleet fell around her. Ice covered the pavement, gray overcast skies loomed overhead, and cold, miserable conditions were evident.

She was dressed lightly, with no heavy coat or visible shelter, and appeared vulnerable and distressed as she waited.

Nearby were the mall’s parking areas, passing traffic, and a Regional Transit Service (RTS) bus stop or shuttle area, with signage for services like “Fitness Entrance,” “Main Clinics,” and “Surgery Center.”

Frascati expressed frustration that shuttle drivers allegedly left her outside instead of assisting her into a shelter or vehicle. He wrote: “How could the RTS shuttle drivers leave her out there and not in the shelter?”

He stopped to ask if she needed help, and the woman requested he call 911, implying she required emergency or medical assistance.

At the end of the video, a CHS healthcare vehicle arrived, and paramedics assisted the woman into the vehicle for care or transport.

The video, posted on February 10, 2026, around 10:45 a.m. Eastern Time, drew sympathy and concern, with commenters thanking Frascati and calling for accountability while some debated the drivers’ responsibilities.
