Jeffco, USA – On Saturday morning, a Jeffco Sheriff deputy faced an unusual situation when a bear broke into a vehicle in the foothills.

The bear got trapped inside the car, causing a mess only a bear could leave.

To help the animal exit safely, the deputy used a long chain to open the car door, allowing the bear to leave without harm.

Officials urge residents to keep vehicles locked at all times, even at home, to prevent such incidents.

They also warn that bears can detect snacks left inside cars, which may attract them.
