Jefferson County, Colorado, USA – On February 8, a driver became trapped after his SUV flipped onto its roof on southbound Highway 285.
The man, Henry, was awake and talking but hanging upside down in his seat belt. Time and safety were critical.
Deputy Evans, along with Deputies Burley and Carter, broke a window to reach him, opened the door, and carefully freed his legs before helping him out of the vehicle.
Once safe, Henry was moved to a nearby spot until paramedics arrived and transported him to the hospital for treatment.
