Dallas Fire-Rescue Saves Two Men Trapped By Rising Waters

Dallas, United States – Around 1 p.m. on February 15, 2026, Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to a water rescue at Forest Lane and Schroeder Road after two men became trapped on a trail by the rapidly rising waters of Cottonwood Creek.

Swift Water Rescue technicians from Dallas Fire Station 30 quickly deployed a Water Sled from the Forest Lane bridge. Two rescuers navigated the rushing creek to reach the men, who were stranded along with their bicycle.
