Cops Leap Into Freezing New York Harbor To Save Struggling Man

New York City, USA – Officers from the New York Police Department rescued a man who was struggling in a freezing harbor on November 30, diving into the water and pulling him to safety.

Footage released by the NYPD shows members of the Harbor Unit answering a call about a person in distress in the water off Pier 2 in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

“They didn’t hesitate, jumping into the freezing water and rescuing the individual, who is now in stable condition,” police said.
