Haines, Alaska – A Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Sitka rescued a man from a downed aircraft near Haines on August 24, 2025.

The pilot was the sole occupant of the aircraft and reported no injuries.
