Virac, Catanduanes, Philippines – The Coast Guard Station Catanduanes assisted in evacuating five residents stranded in Barangay Gogon, Sirangan, Virac, on November 9, 2025.

The Philippine Coast Guard said it is coordinating with other government agencies for immediate response to communities affected by Typhoon UwanPH.

Deployable Response Groups under the Coast Guard District Bicol remain on alert to support local authorities during the severe weather.
