Apalit, Pampanga – A dramatic video shows Philippine Coast Guard personnel pushing and pulling rescue boats through deep floodwaters to evacuate stranded families in Apalit on July 24, 2025.

The footage was taken in Dreamland and Camella Subdivision, where nonstop rain caused waist-deep flooding, trapping residents inside their homes.

The video shows Coast Guard members moving residents in boats through the flooded streets, pushing and pulling the boats through deep water.

Evacuees were brought to designated evacuation centers, where local authorities provided further assistance.

Rescue operations continued throughout the day as more families were taken to safety.
