Coos Bay, Oregon – On April 20, 2025, an aircrew from Air Station North Bend successfully conducted a medevac operation 15 nautical miles off Coos Bay.

A crewmember from the motor vessel National Geographic Venture was hoisted and transferred to Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay for medical treatment.

The swift operation ensured the crewmember received the necessary care following the medical emergency.
